For long-term monitoring, pay attention to creep, temperature effects, and stability over time. A low creep number means the reading won’t drift under constant load. The temperature coefficient of zero and span tell you how much the output shifts with weather changes. Also check the IP rating—IP68 is often preferred for buried or submerged installations.

Yes, every Kingmach load cell ships with a calibration certificate that includes the actual output data at multiple load points. The certificate shows the serial number, test date, and the calculated linearity and hysteresis values. If you need additional points or a specific traceability statement, we can arrange it.

Many of our load cells are available with RS-485 output when equipped with a digital signal conditioner. This is useful for long cable runs or when connecting to MODBUS-based networks. We can provide the communication protocol and register map so you can integrate it with your SCADA system.

First, check your datalogger’s input type (e.g., mV, V, mA) and its excitation voltage capability. Our load cells typically have a rated output of 2–3 mV/V, so with 10 V excitation you’ll get 20–30 mV full scale. If your datalogger only accepts current or higher voltage, we can include a signal conditioner. We always provide wiring diagrams to make the connection straightforward.
